So,
I was talking to Tim at the SDCC about Twitter and have been thinking about getting an account. I've been putting it off for a very long time because some of the ways I've heard it being used sounded stupid and useless and a waste of time. But I figured if I use it for good and not out of boredom I might be able to put it to good use.
What do you guys think? Is Twitter worth it?

i don't know much about twitter, but couldn't you text to your twitter through normal texting on a cell phone? I can't help but feel this would be a excellent way to get mass messaging out at things like cons.. *DL@SDCC "remember my booth number is X123 and i will be handing out 5 free prints at 12:00", or something like that, XD Or if you working on a project a quick twitter update via phone is pretty fast too.

If you're selective about who you follow on Twitter, you can get some handy art tips and pearls of wisdom.

I have never used Twitter, but I'd honestly just prefer a journal with updates on projects as opposed to little snippet-y messages. I'd have to say not worth it
