So,
I was talking to Tim at the SDCC about Twitter and have been thinking about getting an account. I've been putting it off for a very long time because some of the ways I've heard it being used sounded stupid and useless and a waste of time. But I figured if I use it for good and not out of boredom I might be able to put it to good use.
What do you guys think? Is Twitter worth it?

Finishing up work!
Phew,
Getting my butt kicked a bit, putting finishing touches on #LordofGore issue 4, getting together the everything for the #Werewolfrun graphic novel! Getting the last few commissions off my desk, finishing the Issue 10 rough draft on a special future project, And still pounding out a smidgen of my upcoming webcomic. All this and just a little bit of sleep, the boys sleeping habits at night are a bit off. Mommy and Daddy suffer a bit.
SO now I'm open for some commissions! Message me for more info and pricing.

i don't know much about twitter, but couldn't you text to your twitter through normal texting on a cell phone? I can't help but feel this would be a excellent way to get mass messaging out at things like cons.. *DL@SDCC "remember my booth number is X123 and i will be handing out 5 free prints at 12:00", or something like that, XD Or if you working on a project a quick twitter update via phone is pretty fast too.
